During my time working as an admissions clerk at the Utica Zoo I was approached by their design team with the opportunity to redesign the zoo’s map. The design team recognized that as a student and young creative who wanted to continue to work in the field of zoos and aquariums, this project could offer me the experience of working based off an actual zoo’s content, style guides and guest information. I used this chance to better display my illustration skills, opting to draw each animal exhibit and the buildings throughout the campus.
